Investor
Spaceport Australia® Pty Ltd is an Australian based company committed to the development of an integrated educational, technological and research facility, invested in the space economy.
In 60 years of space exploration not a single medical or physiological issue experienced by humans in microgravity/space environment has been solved. This limits the amount of time a human can be exposed to the space environment, with the twin insults of radiation and microgravity creating multiple medical issues for humans.
Spaceport Australia contributes to the development of technological fixes for biological insults to the human body, increasing the robustness of computing technology to space radiation, creating environments that humans can survive in.
The timeline to Mars-fall has been set for 2030. In 2025, a mere 5 years away.
In 2024 Spaceport Australia joined the Global Spaceport Alliance (GSPA). As humanity pivots towards the Space Industrial Complex, spaceports are recognised to become innovation hubs and centres for technology, medical and health advances, computing innovations and education. Dr Caswell serves on a number of GSPA committees.
