SpacePort Australia® will be offering a number of positions in it’s facilities. These positions will range from applied research, computer maintenance and clinical medicine.
Selection will be on merit, the successful completion of all parts of the selection process and in some cases academic qualifications. All candidates are expected to part take in the SpacePort Australia® educational and extension programs, and therefore are expected to complete a police and working with children check.
Preference will be given to candidates who have a nominated area of research which is in line SpacePort Australia® research aims. Preference will also be given to candidates who are able to demonstrate more than one attribute or area of interest. For example astrophysics and computer sciences.
Successful candidates will be expected to relocate to Moree New South Wales for the duration of their tenure.
SpacePort Australia®
Medical Centre
The medical centre is a state of the art centre, servicing a large patient base. The medial centre is part of the SpacePort Australia® complex, and apart from clinical duties, the practitioner will be granted one day a week to peruse space related research (agreed upon and KPI’s nominated at employment).
Practitioners wishing to apply for roles in our medical centre are required to have Australian non-restricted general registration, a fellowship and preferably be procedural.
The practitioner will be encouraged to contribute to the local hospital in the capacity as Visiting Medical Officer.

SpacePort Australia® Scientists
SpacePort Australia® has a number of research laboratories. Our current area of interest include:
- Medical engineering – Design and manufacture of medical tools and devices for use in space
- Computer and artificial intelligence – Systems management, coding, human-computer relationships leading to the design and manufacture of medical tools and devices for use in space
- Engine design – Design and manufacture of new and novel engine designs
- Bio-energy applications – Design and manufacture of self-sustaining energy generation systems for the use in space
